My Berklee College of Music online film scoring course is going well and turning out to be a very positive experience. As I study I am interacting with students from all over the world including Europe, North America and even the Andes!. With this training I hope to be able to respond to the musical needs of our local film community.
Last night I attended the opening night of the Caribbean tales 2010 film festival being held here in Barbados. http://bestofcaribbeantales.wordpress.com/ A big thank you to Frances-Anne Solomon and the Festival team for a great evening.
Finally I have attached a snapshot taken last month of the Martinique group Fal Fret and I standing outside of the legendary L’Olympia concert hall in Paris, France.
We performed there at the Carib’in Jazz festival along with Andy Narell, Mario Canonge and many of the top French Caribbean Jazz artists.
