R&B group Boyz II Men endorse charity plan from Barbadian Miss World Contestant
After winning 3rd place for Beauty with a Purpose at the 59th staging of Miss World, the multi award winning Love Campaign, founded by Barbados’ first Continental Queen of the Caribbean and People’s Choice for Miss World, Miss Barbados World Leah Marville, has scored yet another success.
The Love Campaign in its newest success has been recently endorsed by multi-platinum signing group ‘Boyz II Men‘! The members of the group said they have always been keen on giving back and lending support to charities, especially those involving children. With their latest album entitled “Love” Boyz II Men say they understand the importance of Love. The group is a long standing supporter of ‘The Fatone family Foundation’ which aids several charities which focus on children.
In the same night, Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world and recently voted the second most influential man in the world of 2009 (second only to Barack Obama) also endorsed the Campaign and will be included in the campaign’s upcoming 2010 celebrity awareness and support video!
Boyz II Men and Usain Bolt, are just two of the latest in celebrity additions to the Campaign’s endorsements list which already include: Wyclef Jean, Kelly Rowland, Eve, Marlon Wayans, Machel Montano & Beenie Man.
The Love Campaign is an Charity that supports children infected/ affected by HIV/Aids and to date has raised over US$50,000. Leah Marville is an international Model and TV host and is the reigning Miss Barbados World. Leah Marville is managed locally by South Central Entertainment Inc.
