Barbados plays a significant role next month  for assisting children who are victimised by AIDS in a different way, when they lose one or both parents to the disease – what happens to the little ones? HIH Seeiso of Lesotho along with Harry of the UK are using sport to raise awareness of this plight.

A new Polo Cup will be contested at the Apes Hill Club better known here in Bim as Waterhall to raise funds for this issue which was championed by the mothers of both these Princes. In Barbados’ Free Press rather moving item, you learn that if the average Lesothan reaches 40 years then he or she is considered blessed even in this day and age of modern technology and medicine.

Yule chuckle, too. Prince Harry and girlfriend Chelsy Davy have sent out a holiday e-card that might even have Santa laughing in the aisles. The prince, 25, is seen alongside Davy and pals – including her brother Shaun – looking like elves frolicking in the snow, British newspapers report on Friday. The card comes courtesy of the Web site Elf Yourself. Harry’s Friday media blitz also includes his announcement that he will head to Barbados in January to play polo and raise money and awareness for his Sentebale charity.”
