C.O. Williams Road Works FYI – Edgecumbe, Hindsbury Road & various districts in St John

The C.O. Williams Construction Team advises you that work on Highway 5 between Edgecumbe and Six Roads is on hold.

Also in St. Philip, Market Road, is closed 24-7 while it is rebuilt. That is the road which runs from the western side of Foursquare to the four cross road at Mangrove. Good progress has been made there and a part has been surfaced already but this section remains closed.

Off-road work continues at Station Hill from Eastmond Corner at Upper Hindsbury Road to the old Glendairy Prison and so motorists must excercise caution, particularly during heavy rains where you might be unsure of any object that might have washed into your path.

Glenburney in St. John has been paved but the C.O. Williams Team is still working on some extended works and drainage there.

At Venture St. John the roadway near Villa Nova has been widened and prepared for paving; curb and slipper is in place at Mount Tabor, but the road from the church down hill is being widened to improve the junction and provide a sidewalk. Excavations are being done at Venture 2 but the road is reopened every evening.

Cliff Cottage in St. John (off Coach Hill) will be started this week.

The C. O. Williams Construction teams thank you for your understanding, cooperation and kind consideration as they move the earth to please.
