Two Young Barbadians to play at SUPA International Polo Festival

The School & Universities Polo Association extended a joint invitation to the Jamaica Polo Association and the Barbados Polo Club to participate as Young West Indies in the 2009 SUPA International Polo Festival in England which will take place from the 7 ? 12 July 2009.

{NB Adam is grabbing 4th goal at a Holders match, he is in gray with #1 sleeve by nearest red shirted player} The teams participating in this festival will consist of senior school aged boys or girls aged 14 ? 20 years. The handicap is open but 2-4 goals is preferable.

{NB Danny Atwell is 3rd from left and Richard Deane is 2nd from left, 17 year old Adam is at extreme right} There will be 2 matches, the 1st at Guards Polo Club on the 7th July and the 2nd match for the SUPA Festival Gold Cup at Cirencester Polo Club on the 11th July. The Young West Indies team will consist of the following players:-

Adam Deane; 1 (Barbados)

Marc Atwell; 1 (Barbados)

Sam Wates; 1 (Jamaica)

Michael Turner; -1 (Jamaica)

Aggregate: 2

The Team Managers will be Philip Atwell and Richard Deane (Club Captain of the Barbados Polo Club)
