CO WILLIAMS UPDATE – Sunday 14 June 2009: ROAD WORKS ON STATION HILL TOMORROW
Ellerton to Eastlyn
We continue the extensive rehabilitation work this week on the section of the roadway in St. George from the Turnpike junction to the turn-off in Ellerton to Eastlyn on Highway 4. As a result no traffic will be permitted through this section except for those persons who reside in the affected area.
WOTTON – Christ Church
The excavation of wells and road works is in progress at Salvation Army Drive opposite Lot 72 in Wotton, Christ Church and traffic will be diverted at Cherry Wood Circle and Venus Drive. Only emergency vehicles will be permitted through these sections during the working day from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Traffic will be permitted on Highway 5 in both lanes as our drainage work there is mainly off-road between Windsor and Campaign Castle. Naturally caution must still be exercised when driving on this Highway.
WELLHOUSE – St. Philip
The final paving is now being done at Wellhouse and traffic will continue to be diverted through Riverland for a few days. Please do not use the other side roads and create a dust problem for the residents.
The paving on the entire section of road between Soil Conservation and Lakes Road has been reopened. Work continues however between the gas station and the Lakes bridge where the short detour remains in place at Belleplaine. Please exercise caution on all road work sites in Barbados.
CO Williams Construction appreciates your understanding, cooperation and kind consideration.
