The National Cultural Foundation (NCF) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, having been opened in 1984, almost one year after it was created by an Act of Parliament in 1983.
One of the activities being held in commemoration of this celebration is a discussion on ?The Contribution of the NCF to Culture, and the Future of the NCF?, to be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., at the Queen?s Park Gallery, Bridgetown, St. Michael. The panelists will be former chairmen Anthony Walrond and Al Gilkes, former Chief Executive Officer Antonio ‘Boo‘ Rudder, and the Foundation‘s new CEO, Dr. Donna Hunte-Cox.The Foundation wants all Bajans to be a part of this lively discussion, which they’re sure will generate valuable ideas, as Barbados and the NCF move forward together.
