We have invited Consultant K. Brian Dorval, will be the lead presenter for the workshops. Brian is the President & CEO of Think First Serve, Inc. Brian?s company specializes in using creative-thinking, imagery and problem-solving methods to enhance performance. He has over 20 years experience helping individuals, teams and organizations significantly improve both personal and business results. He has delivered over 350 creative problem solving, management coaching and leadership development programs for Fortune 500 and Times 1000 companies in 17 countries. He has published over 50 articles, chapters and books on topics related to creative thinking, mental imagery and performance improvement and is now researching the use of change management strategies to improve performance. He has a Bachelor?s Degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College and a Masters of Science Degree in Creativity and Innovation from Buffalo State College.

?Towards National Strategies for

Sustainable Heritage Tourism Development in the Caribbean?

Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA)

During the workshop, Dr. Michael Scantlebury of the Rosen School of Hospitality Management, University of Central Florida will present the findings from last year?s conference in a paper entitled, ?Challenges of and Opportunities for Heritage Tourism in the CARIFORUM countries of the Caribbean?. As this year?s conference focuses on community tourism, the Caribbean Tourism Organisation will make a presentation on ?Best practices in Community Tourism in the Region? and the experiences of a global award-winning Community Tourism entrepreneur, Ms Diana McIntyre-Pyke, will be shared during her presentation on ?Country Style Jamaica?.
