Rootz Underground goes live and free via their website

A live performance album from alternative reggae band Rootz Underground is now available for free download from the band?s website and is aptly entitled Rootz Underground: Alive.

Since launching Rootz Underground: Live more than 20,000 people have logged on and downloaded it, which was recorded at a club performance in August last year, with the most downloads coming from France and the United States.

Rootz Underground is no stranger to the USA, having toured the country extensively last year, with more than 80 shows under their belt, and performing with acts like Gregory Isaacs, Anthony B, Tarrus Riley and Israel Vibration.

To download the album, click here, and be prepared to enjoy the rustic sounds of Rootz Underground, live in performance. The download is completely free, and the band encourages people not to be afraid to step out of the box, and take a listed to what they have to offer.

2009 is already looking busy for Rootz Underground, and most notably they make their debut in Hawaii on Friday, February 27, as part of a busy roster of performances, which will take them from California, to Hawaii, Texas, Cayman and, of course, Jamaica.
