Dancehall’s First lady”D’Angelwill be making a special guest appearance alongside the reigning “King of the Dancehall“Beenie Manat the inaugural staging of theBelize Reggae Fest Series. The brainchild of U.S. based promoters Triple T Productions and Nuff Muzik Productions, the series is set to launch on Saturday, March 7th at the new venue, the Civic Center in Belize City.
D’Angel is set to make her Belize debut with her hit single “Stronger,” which is currently #6 on Hype TV’s Top 20 Charts while the accompanying music video is perched at #2 on Hype TV’s Video Top Ten. D’Angel, who was crowned ‘Female Singjay of the Year’ at the Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards in Jamaica earlier this month, is highly excited about appearing alongside Beenie Man, Reggae croonerAnthony Cruz, Dancehall’s “Attitude Gyal” dancerDyema, andDJ Andrew Dof New York’s Irie Jam Radio for the first installment of the Reggae Fest Series.
“This is my first time in Belize, and a chance for all my fans to come out and enjoy themselves,” states D’Angel. “This is a special guest appearance that you won’t want to miss, so make sure you come out,” she says before adding her signature “An Suh!”
“We added D’Angel, because we wanted the show to have some more flavor, and a touch of elegance, and we needed a strong female who could hold her own being on the bill with two men,” states Tasz Smith, CEO of Triple T Productions. “With her song ‘Stronger‘ we knew she would be the perfect lady to add to the show.”
Smith also anticipates that Anthony Cruz, who will also be making his debut in Belize, is another artist that will make a huge impact at the initial staging of the Belize Reggae Fest Series. Cruz has earned quite a following with tunes like “Just Call My Name,””Turn It Up,” “Mama’s Blessing,” “No Gun A Dance,” and “Too Bloody” with Roots icon Buju Banton. His latest single “Block the Road,” has received rave reviews while the brand new video has been making waves on the Internet and television.
Wicked site you have got here. I bet the belize festival was great. Some good reggae artists turned up there too. I have just done at moonsplash in axa.
I like the way you write, would you like to do a guest post on your favourite reggae artist for my blog?
Keep up the good work!
