SPICE ISLE MINISTER OF TOURISM IMPRESSED BY PRICKLY BAY WATERSIDE
Grenada’s Tourism Minister Peter David has expressed his enthusiasm to the management and staff of the Prickly Bay Waterside property for creating what he calls “a true five star luxury development.” The Minister made the comments after he just toured the property.?
He was met by Prickly Bay Waterside Director Peter “Champie” Evans, Sales and Operations Manager Harrison Milborne, and Sales and Marketing Director Keith Devenport. The tour, which lasted just over two hours, was designed to give the Minister a detailed update on the operations of the property.?
Sales and Marketing Director Keith Devenport told the Minister that the first phase of building would be finished by the end of February. “Some of our units have already been sold and we are continuing to see lots of interest from prospective buyers. They are attracted by the unique design of the property and our attention to detail,” said Devenport.
Mr David told the Prickly Bay team that aside from the tourism aspect, he was most proud to know that the construction of the project was done primarily by Grenadian workers, “Every single worker who contributed to this project should be extremely proud of themselves. The quality of work I have seen here is second to none and can stand up to scrutiny in any part of the world. This is not only a great achievement for our tourism but for the masons, carpenters, landscapers, and others who are working here.”
The Grenadian Cabinet Minister also made comment on the unique designs which the property offered and said that he was confident that buyers would be impressed. “This type of development puts Grenada in a position to compete for the most exclusive buyers and visitors from any part of the world. I am confident that the Prickly Bay team will be very successful and I look forward to their official launch on February 20th.?
