C.O. Williams Construction resumes roadworks at Wellhouse, St Philip – Clyde Walcott roundabout will be closed Friday night 14th from 9 PM to 6 AM

The C.O. Williams Construction Team has resumed rehabilitation road work at Wellhouse, St. Philip as the Barbados Water Authority has completed the installation of temporary water supply mains between Eastbourne and the Wellhouse junction.

Excavation work will be done between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm daily and all commuters must observe the diversions at Wellhouse and Castle Heights to avoid the work area.

Note that Detours pass through a residential area an additional caution must be exercised. Motorist further east of Wellhouse are asked to detour through River Plantation, Mapps Development and return to High Way 5 via King George 5th Memorial Park and Hilda Skeene Primary; another Williams team is paving Highway 5 between Boarded Hall and the Y junction at Lower Greys and detours will be in place at these two points. Today Traffic will return to normal on the ABC Highway between the Norman Niles and Clyde Walcott roundabouts.

The Williams Construction Team also gives advance notice that the Clyde Walcott roundabout will be closed this Friday night from 9:00 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday morning for the final paving, and access will be provided to PSV’s, Emergency services vehicles and residents with the appropriate pass.
