Barbadian company Automotive Art launches latest branch in the Dominican Republic

One Barbadian company does not seem daunted by the current bailout crisis of the USA, and in fact is adding to its growing stock of depots across the Caribbean, apart from hosting a branch over in Miami as well –

The company has been the Dominican distributor for Meguiar’s automotive products which are distributed across the Caribbean by Automotive Art. The strong relationship developed in the distribution of Meguiars products has now been expanded to include the Automotive Art Refinishing System of automotive paint and ancillary products.

?Many of the body shop professionals who were at the launch were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product, which is superior to the lacquer based technology and the urethane system currently that are common in the market; overall it was positive all round,? said Alberto Martinez, Sales Manager for Automotive Art.

The Automotive Art paint line was recently launched to body shops and sub distributors in the Dominican Republic and met with rave reviews. Much of the automotive paint used in the Dominican Republic is still based on older lacquer technology, which is notoriously difficult to work with and match all the colours.

  1. Slowing down of economy or not, Upbeat is hiring staff for additional 2 new stores in December – one in North and one in town.
