Eagle Clan girl wins Pakuri Beauty Pageant – Grandmother predicted victory since birth

16 year old Eagle Clan Arawak Christella Junor won the 2008 Beauty Pageant in the 2,000 person Lokono-Arawak community in Region #4 Guyana; South America.

Miss Junor was excited and happy to have won, and her Grandmother Etheldreda Simon had remarked to all in the family when Christella was born in 1992 that she would be “Beauty Queen of Pakuri one day.

Proud parents Lolita and Raymond Junor recalled of their first daughter (the couple have 4 other children – Maradonna 21, Fidel 12, Cassandra 10 and Ray Jr. 5).

Christella is a niece of Shirling Normellia Corrie (nee Simon) – Shirling is the wife of UCTP member and Pantribal Confederacy of Indigenous Tribal Nations founder/President Damon Gerard Corrie.
