The Guyanese Association of Barbados Inc (GABI) will be hosting a food festival “Taste of Guyana” to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of Guyana’s Independence on Sunday 1st, June 2008 at the Christ Church Parish Church Centre.

Lunch will be served between 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. Admission will be $10.00 for members, $15.00 for non-members and $5.00 for children

There will be on sale a wide variety of Guyanese cuisine including vegetarian dishes and baked goods. Guyanese Art and Craft will also be on sale. Take away lunches will also be available. There will be live entertainment on Keyboard and Vocals.
