Legendary Anti-Slavery Vessel’s Itinerary: Amistad here for brief fortnight

Many Bajans have been looking out for the Amistad, which was “secretly” docked near Port St Charles, can now plan when they wish to pay the famous vessel a visit… Here is a preview of the Captain in his own words –

There is also a showing of the Spielberg classic which placed Djimon Hounsou on the map in Hollywood! Above the itinerary is a portrait of the real Cinque from those centuries ago!

Flotilla, libation, official remarks, cultural performances, official tours for dignitaries, the media and general public

The crew has committed to cleaning up the surroundings at Newton Burial Ground and they will join the US Embassy at the children?s homes to donate African History books and story telling with the kids.
