The Breitling Jet Team is the world?s only civilian professional aerobatics team performing on jets.
This year, it is welcoming an additional L39 that will enable it to perform its displays with 7 planes in all. A new pilot has joined the team: like the other team members, Olivier Boulay has enjoyed a career as a fighter pilot in the French air force, including four years with the Patrouille de France.
The first 7-plane display will take place on April 26th and 27th in Evora, Portugal, and the first demonstration in France will be on May 18th at the airshow in Orange.
The team will perform 40 demonstrations this year, in 10 different countries. Along with the changes in the aircraft livery, this new step bears eloquent testimony to the ongoing innovation and the constant quest for quality and performance that Breitling shares with its Jet Team.
