1. Holders Season – just finished … The Trust’s
Reef Balls aroused great interest among participants, both local,

the ex-pats and overseas visitors all of whom are happy that there is a charity which is concentrating on the sea around this small island nation of Barbados.
Many made donations and also many joined
the Trust to help in its work to preserve and protect the local sea.
2. Sherbourne – Sci-Tech Xpo, on now – is targeting not only the general public but also school children who are fascinated with the 1.5 ton reef ball on display. (We have to be careful they do not jump inside the monster ball which is hollow inside)
3. Oistins Fish Festival – The
Marine Trust is starting a big project in Oistins later this year and want to involve themselves in the local Oistins community in particular.

So the
Marine Trust has a display of a jumbo reef ball and also a baby reef ball (
to help teach youngsters about the marine environment)Local Restaurants have donated free dinners for 2 for a draw for all those who sign up and join
the Marine Trust. Every night there is a draw from the main stage.
