Barbadian Idol? Open Mic Night Coming Soon To Braddie’s Bar
Pyramid Entertainment Management Inc will produce the ?Open Mic? series for Braddie’s Bar every Thursday night beginning April 3rd 2008 and runs for 8 weeks.
Hosted by popular DJ and Radio Personality DJ Hurricane, ?Open Mic? night is a live show which will provide opportunities for emerging talents including singers, songwriters, comedians and poets/spoken word artistes to gain experience performing for a live audience.Each week, key music industry executives will be invited to be a part of the audience, to listen and also critique some of the featured talent.
Pyramid Entertainment Management Inc is producing the series because it recognizes the importance of giving opportunities to emerging talent to hone their skills, while allowing local music industry executives to scout talent and share their varied experience with the emerging acts.
All persons interested in participating must submit their demo/backing tracks, necessary technical requirements for performance, along with the registration form which can be downloaded here.Show time is 9 p.m. and participants will be given a time slot for their performance and are expected to be present 30 mins prior.
