Antiguan Specialist on matters of the heart to see Barbadian Heart Specialist
Agony Uncle of St John’s Steve James has not been well recently – to the point his radio station has solicited Antiguans for donations to offset expenses at Holberton Hospital. Now, he seems to have taken a turn for the worse; he’s being sent to Barbados for one of our more noted cardiologists –
…Managing Director of ZDK, Ivor Bird, told the SUN that he has long known that James was unwell, since he had complained of a hernia which was operated on. Bird revealed though that it was not until a few days ago that the severity of the illness became known.
?His blood pressure was so high yesterday (Monday) that they wanted to fly him out immediately. He was not hospitalised, but they wanted him to leave the doctor?s office and go straight to the airport? Because they had to raise some money for him, they decided to let him go this afternoon (Tuesday).”
The Love Doctor, who has been with ZDK for just under 30 years, left the island for Barbados yesterday afternoon where his health and well-being will be in the care of Dr. Alfred Sparman and the staff of the Sparman Clinic.
Here’s hoping this heart specialist can help the other!
