FOUR BARBADIAN POLYCLINICS OFFLINE BY JAN. 15 DUE TO VOTING

Bajans should make a note that a number of Ministry of Health buildings will be used as polling stations on Election Day, January 15 here in Barbados.

These are the Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic ? Wildey, St. Michael; the Glebe Polyclinic – Glebe Land, St. George; the Randall Phillips Polyclinic ? Oistins, Christ Church; the Warrens Polyclinic ? St. Michael; the Outpatient Clinic of the Gordon Cummins Hospital ? St. Thomas, and the Daycare Centre at the Geriatric Hospital ? Beckles Road, St. Michael.

As a result, these facilities will be closed from 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 14, and all day on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. They will re-open on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at their usual times.

The Ministry of Health regrets any inconvenience that may be caused as a result of the closures and urges the public to plan its business accordingly.
