Entitled Come Rise With Me, the theme song for the 2008 competition encourages listeners to rise up and support their team and get ready for a good time in Antigua at the Stanford Cricket Ground come January. It also talks about the unity that the game fosters; the unique elements such as matches under lights, black bats and colourful uniforms; and promotes the theme for the Tournament which is When Night Falls, Cricket Rises.

Fans will not be able to resist Claudette Peters’ invitation to rise, while the energy and excitement of two-time Trinidad Carnival Road March winner Machel Montano will compel them to stay on their feet and enjoy the kind of ‘liming‘ that is unique to cricket in the Caribbean and embraced by the world.
