A temporary halt will be placed on the Ministry of Health?s fogging programme from next week Friday, December 14. It is expected to resume early in the New Year.

However, fogging for the next four days will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by their opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Ppl who have trouble breathing should protect themselves from inhaling the fogging stuff, while pedestrians and motorists must proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health commences the final fogging programme for 2007 on Monday, December 10, it will target areas in Christ Church. These are: Oistins, Welches, Maxwell Main Rd, Deal Gardens, Maxwell coast Rd, Dover, Dover Gardens, Top Rock, Bath Village, St Lawrence, Paradise Village, Worthing and its environs.

The following day, Tuesday, December 11, the team will fog a number of districts in St Michael.

These include: Culloden Road, Lower Collymore Rock, Jemmotts Lane, Upper Bay street, Dunlow Lane, Henry?s Lane, Woodside Gardens, Beckles Road, St Pauls Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Alleynes Avenue, Grants Avenue Walcotts Avenue, Old Quarry Avenue, Bayville,

Dalkeith Road, Chelsea Road, Chelsea Gardens, Jessamine Avenue, Gully Field Avenue, Pipers Avenue, Browns Avenue, Curwens Avenue, Burkes Avenue, Palm Tree Avenue, 1st And 2nd Avenue Beckles Hill and surrounding areas.

A return to St. Michael districts on Wednesday, December 12, will see fogging at Roebuck Street, Perry Street, Hindsbury Road, Harmony Hall, Greenidge Road, Hamlets Road, Brathwaite Road, School Road, Dr Kerr Land, Prescod Bottom, Headley Land, Taylor Land, Advent Avenue, Skeete Road, Holligan Road, Progressive Road, Pavilion Road, Downey Gap, Garden Land, Laundry Road, Tamarind Road, Country Road, Bank Hall Cross Road, Bank Hall Main Road and its environs.

Further fogging of St. Michael districts will occur on Thursday, December 13. The areas to be fogged are: Sobers Lane, Mahogany Lane, Light Foot Lane, Chapman Street, Green Park Lane, Hunte Street, Kings Street, Kings Village, Passage Road, Kensington lodge, White Park Road, Bank Hall Main Road, Strathclyde, Peterkin Land, Manning Land, Bank Hall Cross Road, Eagle Hall, Kings Gap, Bosvigo Gap, Jubilee Gardens, Barbarees Hill, and surrounding areas.
