If your child is having difficulties learning, then it may be as a result of a learning disability, which you should discuss with a psychologist.

Next Thursday [October 18], the Psychiatric Hospital, in collaboration with the Barbados Association of Psychologists, will offer parents and guardians the opportunity to do just that when they host a panel discussion aimed at debunking myths associated with learning disabilities, while examining the realities.

The discussion takes place in the Liberal Arts Auditorium of the Barbados Community College (BCC), from 7:00 pm, and is entitled: ?Learning Disabilities: Myths and Realities?.

Panellists for the session will be Clinical Psychologists, Dr. Dahlia Gibson, Dr. Kerry King and Mr. Albert Selby.

Parents, guardians and individuals working with such children are invited to attend.
