Barbadian Sharpshooter gal’s modesty blazing strong still – perfect score not enough to get past top rankers in Canada

The Barbados Full-bore Rifle team has been in Ottawa, Canada, from August 12th competing at the Connaught Ranges in the Dominion of Canada Championships, the World Lodge Range Championships and the World Palma games.

The team is made up of: captain Richard Arthur, Coach Louis King, Jenny Jordan, Shelly-Ann Hinds, Eustace Greenidge, William Murrell and Robert Griffith.

We will be competing in the World Palma 2007 as a combined West Indies team. Those make the WI team for the first time is: – Richard Arthur – Adjutant, Louis King, William Murrell, Jenny Jordan and Shelly-Ann Hinds (we were presented with our WI ties and Badges). The WI team captain is Carl Smith of Jamaica Rifle association. The team Adjutant is Richard Arthur – Barbados.

To date, Louis King, Shelly-Ann Hinds and Jenny Jordan shot their best possible at individual matches (50/50 or 35/35)

The team returns home on Sept 4th.
