As Barbadian Bowler returns home, UK county suffers another cricketing setback

Just as Ryan Hinds was racking scores in Rochdale, it seems a gremlin has come a-callin’ to upset their apple cart, as noted by the Rochdale Observer

Rochdale’s cause has not been helped by the loss of professional Ryan Hinds who has had to return home early to the West Indies because of the illness of his mother.

The Barbadian’s spin bowling and solid batting will be sorely missed as Simon Brierley’s men enter the most critical phase of the season.

Rochdale have enlisted another Barbadian – Ryan Nurse to play in the Sunday matches to the end of the season.

The 23-year-old made his debut in the Unsworth game on Sunday and impressed officials with his contribution.
