Top UK & US Journalists Hosted in Grenada ? Spice Isle expected to be profiled in some of the USA?s and UK?s biggest publications

Journalists from some of the UK’s top newspapers and magazines have just ended a three day trip to Grenada complements Peter de Savary‘s Port Louis Grenada and Mount Cinnamon Grenada.

While in Grenada the journalists toured some of Grenada’s best known attractions including the Grand Etang Rain forest; the River Antoine and Belmont Estates; the market square and the Forts of St. George’s and the Concorde Falls.

The UK Group also got a chance to see some of the lesser known spots as they had a blast tasting a variety of local rums and other concoctions at Pappy’s Rum Shop in St. John’s.

This is the third press trip Mr. de Savary has organized for foreign press this year and he says it will be by no means the last.

The journalists have all put in bids to come back to Grenada when Mr. de Savary’s Port Louis and Mount Cinnamon properties are completed…

Mount Cinnamon with its prime location on Grenada’s most famous beach will feature 21 completely renovated and furnished villas with access to Mount Cinnamon’s clubhouse amenities, which will include a restaurant, gym, swimming pool, treatment rooms and tennis courts. The restaurant, located at the base of the villas will feature 5-star Italian dining in a chic yet casual atmosphere.

The one and two bedroom villas are completely self-contained and nicely appointed with state-of the-art appliances (including washer/dryer) high speed internet, and vibrant furnishings in fresh bright colours.

Each villa has an outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying a meal or just unwinding. Every villa has stunning ocean and cascading city views that render a sense of tranquillity during the day but are most spectacular at night.

The lush landscaping, with tropical plants, palms and citrus trees throughout, complements the beauty of Mount Cinnamon.

Port Louis Grenada will be an EC$1.5 billion resort and spa maritime village development. The project will include; A world class marina with 350 slips and yachting facilities for yachts up to 100 metres, 36 estate lots for individual houses, 200 residential units varying in size and use from turnkey 3000 sq ft homes to more modest 900 sq ft village apartments.

A 120 room 5-star hotel with all the amenities of a luxury establishment , a world class premier spa and well being lifestyle centre for Port Louis residents and other visitors to Grenada, a 120 room mid range hotel catering to the tourist market, revitalization of the southern end of the lagoon area including the reclamation and renovation of the seafront, proposed revitalization and augmentation of Pandy Beach to compliment that of Grand Anse including water sports, beach extension, diving and other elements.

Employment prospects of between 500-800 staff with excellent training and career opportunities for Grenadians. Within the Caribbean, Port Louis will be a unique comprehensive village community of charm and character including a vibrant market with a waterfront of exciting activities.
