Barbadian Cricketer hits a next ton – Over in UK, Rochdale routs Royton at Redbrook via Ryan

Ryan Hinds continues to shine in British county cricket, the Rochdale Observer gives a glowing account of his centuries –

It was runs for fun as Rochdale chased down Royton?s 249 to win by five wickets with just under four overs to spare.

And once again it was the Barbadian who led the way, deservedly picking up the man of the match award for his 105 not out which followed a five for 97 return on a day when bowlers and fielders were made to toil in the hot sunshine.

WATCHING BRIEF… Ryan Hinds looks on as Rochdale keep up the pressure on Royton at Redbrook on Saturday.

  1. Good to see the Barbadian and other West Indian cricketers plying their trade. Just a little correction though. He is playing in the leagues which is a big difference to playing county cricket. The closest analogy to Barbados would be like someone playing first division cricket and someone playing intermeditate or in BCL. Its still a start and many of the former greats plied their trade in the leagues. I hope some of these guys can go onto play county cricket and get the much needed professional outlook that is missing from West Indies cricket.
