American Embassy invites applications for Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships

The United States Embassy for Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean is reminding the public applications are now being accepted world wide for the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship program.

A Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship permits resident citizens of the Eastern Caribbean to study at the post-graduate level at American Universities for up to 2 years. Beneficiaries must agree to return home to work after that time so that their home country may benefit from their acquired knowledge and expertise.

The Fulbright Fellowship program was founded in 1946 to increase mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries, through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills.
