Alicia Lynch, Digicel?s marketing executive, explained that customers simply have to log onto , click the link ? ? and register for the free service, which is the company?s newest addition to an impressive list of text-based services including International SMS and the ability to send text messages to customers on CDMA networks in the US and Canada, Verizon and Rogers AT&T.
Ms Lynch says first time users just have to register their mobile phone number and a password will be assigned to them. Once this has been done, customers will be able to use the service continuously, with their allocated passwords. Users can then send up to five messages at once to their friends and family with Digicel mobiles, with the limit being ten messages monthly.
