Barbados still is at the embryonic stage of D&A – not what CSI uses to solve cases but the term, Data And Analytics, where the number or locale of social media entries assist individuals and companies in creating better decisions on numerous activities.

The KPMG partner sees the need for Barbados to speedily evolve to becoming prescriptive and predictive with D&A much like their overseas counterparts, however most Barbadians still have an extreme reluctance o answer surveys which in fact could enable their firms to have a stronger place in the Caribbean;-

Ms Pope told those gathered at the Cave Hill School of Business how D&A is now a burgeoning market where information is the currency to drive economies forward, but it has to be not just embraced but used as well;-
