The Council identified a number of facilities that have either acquired a Fully Accessible Barbados (FAB) Accreditation, or who have demonstrated their consideration by providing Disabled Parking Bays.

The abuse of Parking Spaces assigned to disabled Barbadians has been a common occurrence so much so the government has been ratifying the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and it will soon be a requirement to adhere to the international agreement for the provision of Disabled Bays as well as correct graded curb cuts.
