Westeros came to Barbados at Limegrove Cinemas over the weekend thanks to Flow, and the fans loved it.

King’s Landing is capitol of the fictional land mass featured heavily in a now viral book series from George R. R. Martin. Now made into an award-winning TV mini-series by HBO with a global audience increasing by millions every year, and Limegrove Cinemas was no exception either.

For the second year in a row, Flow not only projected the season’s opening episode on the big screen at Limegrove Cinemas, guests who won tickets via social media were given full VIP treatment with crystal goblets they could keep and delicacies.

This year, there were more fans than last year’s event. Patrons had a beverage choice of either “Night’s Watch,” which was a blend of rum, stout and condensed milk or “Dragon’s Blood,” a mix of vodka and blackberry juice.

Some fans were eager to discuss the four leaked episodes of the fifth season while more die-hard veterans chose to remain surprised and asked their friends not to reveal any spoilers, at the show’s conclusion fans were treated to a quiz for a chance to earn logo-imprinted giveaways.

The top cosplay winner was Naz and she chose to dress like Melisandre who is a priestess for the Lord Of Light, played by Clarice Van Houten in the award winning series – Naz earned herself a replica of the Iron Throne.

After the end of the first episode for the fifth season, in full costume as series heroine Daenyrys Targaryen; Shelly Ann Hee Chung – Vice President of Sales & Marketing (Barbados and Eastern Caribbean) promised an even larger event and costume contest for next year’s continuing adaptation by HBO of the seven book quest.
