Young cricketers from the Tower House School in Richmond near London presented cricket equipment for The cricket team from Half Moon Fort Primary School situated in the northern parish of St Lucy.
Half Moon Fort’s Games Master Mr Roger Broomes as well as fifteen young cricketers met with Principal of Tower House, Greg Evans plus students, families and staff from the UK school at the residence of the British High Commissioner for an afternoon tea hosted by High Commissioner Victoria Dean and her husband Marcus.
The British schoolboys, aged 12-13 years, raised monies to tour in Barbados by washing cars and selling toys on e-Bay. Tower House’s Deputy Head said his institute intends to make this trip every four years and become a school tradition.
