“Forward Ever: The Killing of a Revolution” on Friday 11th July 2014 at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination

The University of the West Indies Open Campus will host the premiere screening in Barbados of the critically-acclaimed Bruce Paddington film on the 1983 Grenadian Revolution: Forward Ever: The Killing of a Revolution. The film will be shown at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

Recently screened in Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis and Jamaica in the Caribbean region, the film also just premiered in London on May 16, 2014 at the British Film institute with a full house of over 400 persons followed by a question and answer period. Future showing of the film may take place in other countries served by the UWI Open Campus (17 English-speaking Caribbean countries) over the course of the year. {CLICK FOR BIGGER}

After the showing, there will be a thirty-minute post-film panel discussion where film-maker and Director, Mr. Bruce Paddington will be present to answer questions and engage in discussion. The panellists will be Dr. Wendy Grenade, Lecturer in Political Science, UWI Cave Hill Campus, Mr. Alan Robinson, Project Manager, UWI Open Campus DFATD-Project and Mr. Dennis Johnson, Radio Announcer, all three Grenadians. The moderator will be Ms. Celeste Wood, Adviser to the Governor, Central Bank of Barbados.
