BEACON LAUNCHES “DON’T WORRY BE HAPPY” THEME
July 10th 2014 marked the launch of Beacon’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy” strategic marketing theme. Coinciding with the insurance company’s annual Customer Appreciation event, it emphasizes Beacon’s philosophy of providing life transforming experiences to its customers. Underscored by Bobby Mc Ferrin’s timeless classic “Don’t Worry Be Happy” this campaign reflects a new phase of Beacon’s re-brand exercise which began in 2011.
Adlyne Griffith, Vice President, Corporate Services at the Trinidad based company said “3 years ago we completed a re-brand exercise which focused mainly on aligning our image to better reflect who we are. This theme is just the next phase in the process of becoming and growing“.
“Don’t Worry Be Happy” was chosen as our signature sound because according to Griffith, it reflects the culture of the company. She stated “We wanted a sound that is uniquely Beacon. A sound that reflects our warm, light-hearted, savvy and caring personality and Mc Ferrin’s song was the best fit.”
The charity food drive is being done at all Beacon branches throughout the Caribbean so persons are invited to drop off their contributions at the nearest Beacon branch.
