A few years ago, I did sales training with Franklin Covey, which is based in West Valley City, Utah, and is a provider of time management training and assessment services for organisations and individuals.
It was a consultative sales methodology course entitled Helping Clients Succeed. It taught the skills practiced by the top three (3) percent of sales professionals in the world. It was a combination of critical communication skills, disciplined business thinking and fierce execution that enable sales persons to talk honestly, explore the real issues, and collaborate to craft solutions that exactly meet their client’s needs.
Since taking the helm, I have thrived to implement the Helping Clients Succeed framework that blends the art of sales with the science of sales.

Alexander Hampson often referred to as Alex, is the Senior Product Manager with CBS. He has over 15 years’ experience in telecoms and IT, holding a variety of commercial and product management roles. Prior to joining Columbus, he was a Senior Product Manager with Virgin Media in the UK.
Alex is also a newlywed, who just a short while ago, took his wife’s Gabriela hand in marriage. “Congratulations to Alex and Gabriela“.

Dean McIntosh (extreme left) Pre-Sales Manager joined the CBS team this past January he is responsible for sales to large enterprises and Government entities.
Dean has worked in the Telecommunications Industry for the last 12 years. Fully trained and experienced in the latest ICT technologies, he has now focused his knowledge base to include CBS’s full suite of Cloud Voice, Disaster Recovery and Hosted Managed Solution’. He is also hoping to one day understand and appreciate cricket and become a West Indies supporter.
Livingstone Hunte (second from left) who you may know as Livi, is our Corporate Account Manager responsible for the Hospitality Sector. He has been in the telecommunications sector for over 25 year and with that knowledge and experience has consistently contributed to the growth of CBS since joining the organization and has been instrumental in gaining a significant percentage of the Hospitality sector in the area of CBS cable TV services.
At this time I wish to publicly congratulate Livi, who just completed his Masters in Project Management, and is set to graduate in October 2014. “Congratulations, well done Sir”
Anthony Jordan (first from left) is the Corporate Account Manager – Enterprise. Anthony possesses immense experience in the Business Management field where he is able to apply the knowledge gained to prospective clients, educating and expanding their brand awareness.
Anthony wears a professional hat, but when it is time to unwind he is the life of the party.
Rory Hunte (far right) is the Team Lead of the Small to Medium sized Enterprise (SME) unit of CBS. Rory has extensive business experience from within diverse sectors, an exceptional record of success, a passion for achieving all objectives as well as a strong background in sales and marketing. Rory has been extremely innovative, combining strong commercial and communication skills with a clear vision, inspiring the SME team to flourish and be successful. He is an avid supporter of charitable organizations and is a former secretary and current board member of the Kiwanis Club of Bridgetown, as well as an internal auditor for the Silver Dollars For Children Charity.
