Barbados Vocational Training Board acquire more skills to better assist

A specialised workshop for training staff with the Barbados Vocational Training Board was aimed at Training the Trainers with specific focus on Communication and Presentation Skills, and participants were given the opportunity to deliver a five minute presentation.

Opening remarks were given by the Director of the Barbados Vocational Training Board, presenters included Anne Sonia Hamilton-Cutting, who’s been involved in the Human Resource Development for over fifteen years and is a trained Social Worker; Phillippa Aimey is a qualified Image Consultant, with over fifteen years experience; Sonia Hunte who’s a trained Public Speaker and instructor, Sonia is an active member of the Toastmasters Club and sits on the Financial Planning Association global Committee along with Tracey Austin, Client Service Advisor – Customer Service, National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE) Inc.

The Sir Harcourt Lewis Auditorium was the venue for this workshop which was led by Mrs. Jennifer Michael along with Mrs. Lisa Ramsay and Ms. JoyAnn Hunte, who are Instructor Training Officers with the Barbados Vocational Training Board.
