Barbadian Insurance Company reaffirms hope for local economy while forging alliance with leading Department Store

In the midst of a longstanding economic downturn lasting six years so far, two local conglomerates have pooled their resources to seek to make it easier for Barbadians to meet their financial obligations.

CEO Ingrid Innes in a mini conference after the gathering, informed media that despite financial challenges facing Barbados at the moment, she believes that better times are now peeking over the horizon. Mrs Innes sees recovery as not an external process but rather one where all Bajans must participate to restore growth and this was one of the underpinning ideas behind ICBL's latest alliance.

Revealed at ICBL’s Training Room in the heart of Bridgetown… Cave Shepherd’s Card Facility in addition to accommodating users of Automotive Art, SOL petrol stations (except where listed), TriMart supermarkets, Carter’s General Stores, Barbados Reference Laboratory and fast-food emporium KFC branches now includes the (ICBL) Insurance Corporation of Barbados Limited’s services as part of the umbrella which the Cave Shepherd card handles in terms of settling consumers’ bills.
