MEN CHARGED FOR SEPARATE CASES OF MURDER

1. ANOTHER MAN CHARGED FOR THE MURDER OF JOSIAH CLAIRMONT

Police have arrested and charged Andre Clyde Cave, 35 years, of Fairfield Cross Road, Tudor Bridge, St. Michael for the offence of Murder in relation to the shooting death of Josiah Clairmont, 22 years, of Orchid Drive, Husbands, St. James. Clairmont was shot in February, 2014, at Fairfield, Black Rock, St. Michael.

Richard Shamario Worrell, 23 years, of Derriston Road, Grazettes, St. Michael, was also charge in connection with this death, and is currently on remand at HMP Dodds.

Andre Cave and Richard Worrell were the subject of a wanted man notice by Police in February 2014. Cave is expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court on Friday 02 May 2014.

2. MAN CHARGED FOR MURDER AT PARISH LAND

Police have arrested and charged Adrian Andre Cox, 22 years, of Parish Land, Christ Church for the offence of Murder in relation to the death of death of Selwyn Ormond Carter, 50 years of Balls Land, Christ Church.

On Saturday 26 April 2014 about 7:00 am, Carter's body was discovered by a family member lying on the floor of a shed located at the rear of a house at Parish Land, Christ Church.

He is expected to appear at the District B Magistrates Court on Friday 02 May 2014.
