BARBADIAN MAN IN REMAND ‘TIL JUNE OVER BOTCHED ATTEMPT TO SMUGGLE COCAINE

Jehron Connolly, 27 years of Enterprise, Christ Church, appeared at the District B Magistrates Court on Monday 19th May 2014, and pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was remanded until 16th June 2014 to re-appear at the District B Court

1. Possession 2. Possession with intent to supply 3. Trafficking; and  4. Importation of 3 kilos of cocaine.

4. Importation of 3 kilos of cocaine.

Connolly arrived by air from Trinidad on 17th May 2014, he cleared Immigration, and was interviewed by Drug Squad personnel. He was then referred to Customs where a search of his luggage was conducted and the illegal drug was discovered concealed in a false compartment.
