This was one of many “ice-breakers” held to reduce any reserves the students may feel in a new environment, among those helping them become less shy was the Joneses’ daughter!
Signia wants to pursue profit on the basis of sound business ethics and respect for its stakeholders. Corporate responsibility is a fundamental part of Signia’s strategy: ethical, and social factors play an integral role in our business decisions.
Signia’s Paul Ashby stresses on how these young Barbadians becoming entrepreneurs through this avenue is the next wave to bring Barbados up front as a financial leader in the world – the workshop was hosted at the George Lamming Pedagogical Centre on Cave Hill.
This means not just thinking outside the box, it means flinging the box to one side… Signia is achieving this by looking at the next generation and ensuring to include the Film Industry as a means Forward to generate a profitable future for Barbados and its people.
A little behind the scenes look at Signia’s first session of the ‘Film Workshop‘ with Rommel Hall of Keeping up with the Joneses: The Series.. The second session is on April 12th for 15-19 year olds.
