ROAD FATALITY AT DUKES, ST THOMAS: COLLISION BETWEEN MOTORBIKE & MINIVAN

A serious accident occurred about 7:25 pm on Friday 4 April, 2014 on Dukes Road, St. Thomas, which resulted in the death of motorcyclist Russell Michael Bramao, 36 years of Whitepark Road, St. Michael.

{IMAGE VIA - Dominica Central} Investigations revealed that Bramao was riding his motorcycle along Dukes Road, when he and a minibus driven by Darnley Worrell of Fairfield Cross Road, St. Michael, collided.  Bramao was pronounced dead at the scene.

Worrell complained of pain to his right hand. Conductor of the minibus, O’Neal Went of Flat Rock, St. George, complained of pains about his body. Worrell and Went were taken to the QEH by ambulances. Six passengers aboard the minibus complained of pains about their bodies, and sought private medical treatment.

Investigations are continuing.
