1 Million Steps in 41 days: NISE 100 Improvements Movement Challenge

The National Initiative for Service Excellence (NISE) Inc. 100 Improvements in 100 Days Movement Challenge has resonated with members of the public with Barbadians across the island actively monitoring the amount of steps they walk on a daily basis via their NISE 100 Improvements pedometers.

The aim of this component of the 100 Improvements initiative is to reach 1 Million Steps in 100 Days.

Rodney Cadogan, Senior Warehouse Assistant at Harris Paints Barbados Ltd. has not only accepted the challenge but reached the 1 Million Steps target in a record 41 days. This equates to an average of 24,000 steps per day.

To celebrate Mr. Cadogan’s milestone, NISE Inc. partnered with Duty Free Caribbean Holdings. who provided Mr. Cadogan with new pair of walking shoes compliments Duty Free Caribbean Holdings during a presentation ceremony at Cave Shepherd in Broad Street on Friday April 25, 2014.
