Great Britain has extensive trade plans for Caribbean in 2014

With professional advisers both within the UK and across more than 100 international markets, UK Trade & Investment is the Government Department that helps UK-based companies succeed in the global economy and assists overseas companies to bring their high-quality investment to the UK. Among the missions, a 6-member member team from the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce who spearheaded a market visit to Barbados showcasing UK companies specialising in food and drink and automotive products. The market visit included four companies, plus two senior executives from the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce.

The British High Commission, through UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), received the small group of UK exporters and support their visit.

The aim of the mission is to develop future potential sales opportunities and facilitate collaboration in the food and drink and automotive sector between UK and Barbados companies.
