Does anyone recall when I wondered how long BK in Haggatt Hall would get unsaddled in its presentation? I wish I was wrong, but it’s barely a month since the fast food outlet is running and its standards are a far cry from what existed in February…

There was an ad in the Weekend Edition of one of the dead-tree Media which indicated a special of a Double Cheeseburger with fries & drink for $9.95 and I have no idea why, but I thought there were 2 burgers and the food would be filling? Miscommunication on both sides, I guess…
I am reminded of Paul Giamatti movie here where he told a Kid a real Whopper of a fib… If you read this, wouldn’t you feel this a nice & filling meal?
My receipt was Order 91 and I asked to Eat In, when I went to queue up they were still at 75?? The guy would quietly call the number and so to speed it up I projected my voice (broadcast training) and only then does the flipper use the Mic in front of him, why not use it for each order?
However? Reality Bites, I almost didn’t – my fist is larger than the Burger! A Hand-Burger?
They jump to my order since after each order I was asking if they reached 91 yet, when they hand me 91 it’s as a Take Away – was this hint? So I go and sit with my package and there is a burger which is small even by White Castle standards and it’s one not two burgers, I can close my fist over it quite easily… I go and buy a second one, why in the USA where it can be as low as 99ยข (USD) or high as $2.00 for a similar meal for what can be 3 such meals in America? The chips are dry like if they were the bottom of the fryer, there is no bacon like aftertaste such as when I first visited.
The Coke is bigger than the pie, yet BK wants close to $10 BBD?
The Hershey pie, while nicer than Chefette’s Oreo pie, is nevertheless like Chefette’s Oreo pie also charged far above its true worth… If I was to pay what I felt the pie should be priced at, then I’d be looking at $2.95 BBD not $7.00!
As I was leaving the backlog got huger and the crowd was starting to… think of demanding their rights? Heavens above!
The staff now stare at each other with a Zombie-ish sullenness and no Eager Cooperation like what I saw early in the 2nd month of 2013 and here we are skirting on the 4th month… I doubt I’ll be returning?
