VINCENTIAN MAN CHARGED FOR DRUG SEIZURE
Vincentian national Dennis Lawrence Parsons (a musician) appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Wednesday March 20, 2013, and pleaded guilty to all the charges.
1. Possession of cannabis (49 lbs)
2. Trafficking of cannabis
3. Possession with intent to supply
4. Importation
Parsons was remanded to HMP Dodds until April 17, 2013.
ROCK HALL MURDER UPDATE
On Wednesday March 20, 2013, Conroy Ramsay, 27 years of Godding Road, Station Hill, St. Michael was charged for the offence of Murder, relating to the death of Kimberly Hinds.

Ramsay appeared at the District D Magistrate Court and was remanded until April 17, 2013.
ROAD FATALITY UPDATE
Ahmal Lamar Phillips, 24 years of Block 1D Pavillion Terrace, Deacons Farm, St. Michael, was charged for the offence of ‘Causing death by dangerous driving’, in relation to the death of pedestrian Rachel Pilgrim 19 years of Bibby’s Gap, Halls Road, St. Michael, on March 17, 2013.

MAN CHARGED FOR THEFT, RE: BROWNE’S BEACH INCIDENT
Samuel Dacosta Chandler, 24 years of Beckwith Street, Bridgetown, was arrested and charged for the offence of Theft relating to the snatching of a gold chain from a Visitor on Brownes Beach on March 18, 2013. Chandler was caught by members of the SSU hiding in a yard, after running into the Dunlow Lane, St. Michael community being chased by the husband of the visitor and a civilian.

Chandler appeared in District A Magistrate Court and pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He also defaulted on a bond placed on him by the Court in 2012, and he was sentenced to an additional 9 month in prison.
