In an Odd Couple setting where it’s law enforcement as opposed to an apartment – Sandra Bullock is yet again an FBI agent, unlike “Miss Congeniality,” where she played a tough, beer-swilling brawler, in this version she is in the shoes (espadrilles?) of Tony Randall‘s almost prissy character of Felix Unger while Oscar Madison is played with gusto (gutso?) by Melissa “Identity Thief” McCarthy… People may also find shades of Richard Donner‘s Lethal Weapon series in this comedy…
