Santo Domingo’s Minister of Public Works promised “A hole-free Christmas”?

The Dominican Republic’s Minister of Public Works, Gonzalo Castillo pledged his Ministry, in coordination with the mayors of the National District and Greater Santo Domingo will repair the holes in the main streets in the city, in a program to be called “Christmas without holes“.

{IMAGE VIA - treehugger.com} The work will involve patching and asphalting so that people can enjoy Christmas with the roads in the best possible condition.

The agreement for the work was signed in the Public Works Club between the mayors of 11 municipalities, which will also clean the streets, overpasses and maintain the gardens.
