Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Foreign Affairs; Winston Dookeran has pledged T&T’s support in working with the UN to combat the illicit trade in narcotics, small arms and light weapons as well as transnational organized crimes which pose a serious threat to the Rule of Law within CARICOM.

Delivering his first Statement to the High Level Meeting on the UN Sponsored UN session, the Minister who was introduced by Vice President of the General Assembly Ambassador Rodney Charles said this is vital to secure the peace, security and stability of T&T and the region.
